The second edition of the National Survey on the Profile of the Brazilian Cyclist continued the first edition of the homonymous survey on the profile of urban cyclists and their motivations for using the bicycle, expanding efforts on the Latin American scale to produce knowledge on the topic. More than 140 researchers went to work field between September 2017 and 2018 in 25 Brazilian cities, three cities in Argentina, and four cities in Colombia. A total of 7,644 cyclists were interviewed.
